More than 3,000 internship and employment opportunities were offered to students during the HSU Career Festival 2026, a major recruitment and career development event organised by Vietnam’s Hoa Sen University (HSU) in conjunction with its 35th anniversary celebrations.
Held at the university’s Thanh Thai campus in Ho Chi Minh City on June 5, the event drew strong participation from students seeking internships, career guidance and employment opportunities. A total of 29 companies, organisations and brands participated through 25 recruitment booths, while more than 50 additional employers engaged with students via HSU’s online Career Hub platform.
The participating companies represented key sectors of Vietnam’s economy, including banking, finance, securities, logistics, technology, education, retail, services and international manufacturing. Among the employers involved were Sacombank, BIDV, Woori Bank, UOB, SSI, Bao Viet Securities, VPBankS, KIS Vietnam, SPX Express, Concentrix, Sae-A Vietnam, CellphoneS and JobsGO.
Through more than 3,000 internship and job vacancies, students were able to interact directly with recruiters, gain insights into labour market requirements, attend interviews and explore potential career paths before completing their studies.
As part of the programme, Vietnam’s Hoa Sen University signed 23 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with businesses and professional associations to enhance cooperation in training, internships, recruitment, talent development and industry engagement. The university has established partnerships with more than 100 enterprises across various sectors in 2026.
Career Day was the highlight of the HSU Career Festival 2026, themed “Ready 4 Real”, which runs from May 19 to June 30. The initiative was designed as a comprehensive career-readiness programme for approximately 3,000 students, particularly those preparing for internships and graduation.
Leading up to the event, participants attended workshops on CV preparation, professional email writing, resume development and interview skills. Students also benefited from industry networking sessions, including engagements with Sae-A Vietnam, a member of a leading South Korean multinational group in the fashion and global supply chain sector.
The festival reflects HSU’s educational philosophy of nurturing human-centred, self-directed and practical learning. The university is also strengthening its graduate competency framework to ensure students possess core competencies, professional expertise and future-ready adaptability.
According to a survey conducted by HSU’s Student Experience and Business Relations Centre, 95 per cent of graduates in 2025 and 96 per cent in 2026 secured employment before graduation, with 28 per cent joining foreign-owned or internationally affiliated companies operating in Vietnam and abroad.
