Dassault Systèmes announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Taylor’s University and IME Technology to implement the SOLIDWORKS SkillForce program in Malaysia. This marks a significant step toward empowering the next generation of engineering and design talent and underscores the growing momentum of SOLIDWORKS SkillForce across the globe.
SOLIDWORKS SkillForce is Dassault Systèmes’ global initiative designed to bridge the gap between education and industry by equipping students with certified SOLIDWORKS skills and providing access to professional-grade tools for internships and early career opportunities.
Under this MoU, the three organisations will work closely to advance Malaysia’s talent development agenda by strengthening practical engineering capabilities that align with industry needs. Taylor’s University will play a central role in delivering SOLIDWORKS training and preparing students for the Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate (CSWA) certification, ensuring they are equipped with the technical skills required for internship and early-career success. The university will also support student enrollment into the SOLIDWORKS SkillForce program, creating a seamless pathway from classroom learning to real-world application. Complementing this effort, IME Technology will develop an induction program that provides students with essential SOLIDWORKS knowledge and workplace-readiness skills, helping them transition confidently into professional environments.
