IJN University College (IJNUC) is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IREHAB Integrated Rehabilitation (M) Sdn. Bhd., aimed at providing valuable internship and job placement opportunities for IJNUC students and graduates.

This collaboration is designed to enhance professional development, skill-building and real-world application of knowledge for students across multiple disciplines, particularly in healthcare, rehabilitation, patient care and supporting administrative and technical roles.

Under the MoU, IREHAB will offer internships primarily for students pursuing healthcare-related programs such as Diploma, Bachelor and Certificate courses, allowing them to gain relevant clinical and technical experience. Where feasible, students from other academic disciplines, including management, business and IT may also benefit from internships and potential employment opportunities in areas such as administration, operations, research, marketing and digital support.

The partnership also encourages the utilisation of teaching and learning facilities from both parties for study, research and training purposes, as well as mutual promotion of initiatives on respective platforms, subject to prior approvals.

Prof. Emerita Dr Durrishah Idrus, Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive of IJN University College, said, “We are excited to formalise our partnership with IREHAB, a leader in integrated rehabilitation services. This collaboration will provide our students with invaluable hands-on experience and professional exposure, ensuring that they are well-prepared for the workforce.

“By working closely with industry partners, we continue to strengthen our commitment to produce competent, job-ready graduates who can contribute meaningfully to the healthcare sector and beyond,” she said.

The MoU will remain in effect for five years, with provisions for review and renewal, reflecting both parties’ commitment to long-term cooperation and continuous development of meaningful opportunities for students.
