Exchange 106 has entered into a strategic collaboration with Yayasan Pahang to enhance training and employment pathways for graduates from Pahang, aimed at developing a skilled and future-ready workforce for Malaysia.

The partnership was formalised through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), under which selected graduates will undergo structured training programmes before being placed at Exchange 106 for hands-on industry exposure, with opportunities for permanent employment based on performance.

Exchange 106, owned and operated by Mulia Property Development Sdn Bhd, is located within Tun Razak Exchange (TRX), Malaysia’s international financial and business district. The iconic commercial development will serve as a real-world training ground for participants, offering exposure to professional working environments in facilities management, building operations and technical services.

Under the collaboration, Yayasan Pahang’s training arm, YP Advanced Skills Sdn Bhd (YPAS), will be responsible for designing and delivering industry-relevant training modules. These programmes focus on technical competencies, workplace readiness and practical learning to ensure graduates are adequately prepared before entering the workforce.

Exchange 106 Chief Executive Officer Faris Najhan said the initiative reflects the organisation’s commitment to investing in local talent while supporting national workforce development efforts.

“This partnership reflects our commitment to nurturing local talent and supporting national workforce development. By equipping young people with real-world skills and structured career pathways, we hope to contribute positively to Malaysia’s human capital while fostering a future-ready workforce,” he said in a statement.

Priority will be given to graduates from Pahang who possess relevant qualifications and skill sets. During their placement at Exchange 106, participants will receive guidance and mentorship from experienced professionals, with continuous performance assessments throughout the programme.

Meanwhile, Yayasan Pahang Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of YP Advanced Skills Sdn Bhd, Datuk Indera Mahmud Mohd Nawawi, said the collaboration provides graduates with valuable industry exposure at a landmark commercial development.

“We are proud to bring our graduates to Exchange 106 to develop meaningful industry opportunities at a landmark development. Through YPAS, we are committed to producing well-trained, industry-ready professionals who can contribute from day one, while supporting Malaysia’s broader workforce development,” he said.

Both parties said the collaboration demonstrates a shared commitment to empowering young talent and strengthening Malaysia’s talent pipeline by bridging education, training and employment opportunities for the next generation.
