Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad (Alliance Bank) will continue to extend its Payment Relief Assistance (PRA) packages to help individuals and businesses facing cashflow constraints due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Individuals who have lost their jobs or whose income have been affected by the pandemic may apply for the Bank’s Payment Relief Assistance (PRA).

The Bank also extends similar support to businesses experiencing reduced business revenue. There is no impact on customers’ Central Credit Reference Information System (CCRIS) record if they apply for the Bank’s Payment Relief Assistance package before 31 December 2021.

“Our key priority is to continue helping our customers to weather the effects of this pandemic. We urge customers facing financial challenges to contact us as soon as possible to discuss a suitable relief package to ease their financial commitment,” said Joel Kornreich, Group Chief Executive Officer of Alliance Bank.

The Bank has simplified the application process to make it easier for customers to obtain a PRA package.

It has also launched a WhatsApp business account to provide a quicker response to customer queries about the PRA.

Alliance Bank has extended over RM7 billion in loan modifications and moratoria, with an approval rate of over 95 per cent. The Bank also disbursed more than RM600 million in Special Relief Fund and RM120 million in Targeted Relief and Recovery Facility provided by Bank Negara Malaysia.

Customers interested in applying for the Payment Relief Assistance may call the Bank’s Collection Centre at 03-5516 9000 or leave their contact details at www.alliancebank.com.my.
